The Cat Agency challenged us to think about what would be our dream project and create an illustration based on what that would look like. As a child of the 90s who grew up playing with American Girl Dolls (and still have mine!), illustrating a Little Golden Book for American Girl would be a dream that would actually hit two goals: creating something for American Girl and illustrating a Little Golden Book. I wanted to create something based on the original girls, and Samantha being one of my favorites I ran with that idea. So American Girl, let's create something together! :)
